Bullseye (1984)

This was a play off a smaller “A”-shaped boomerang that Eric Darnell used as part of a Doubling pair. with the intention of highlighting a boomerang’s center of mass. I attempted to use it in Accuracy versus the Australians, but they protested, claiming the center to be a “catching aid” and thus not valid; Accuracy is a non-catching event! Their protest was allowed, I believe only out of kindness, so I removed the center part with a file and competed with it anyway, but not as good a score as I’d hoped. Thankfully, it didn’t contribute significantly to the Aussie’s dramatic comeback later in the match. I made four of these boomerangs total; this one remains intact.
